Strange Fruit is an exclusive jazz club run by musicians, located in Petersfield now at the wonderful Annie Jones. Held every month, it brings you the best jazz around from experienced, established artists and up and coming stars.
Annie Jones provides an unique setting with a bar and excellent food, it's the perfect environment for a relaxed evening of high quality jazz.

Please note - we can't give refunds or swop events if you are unable to make the gig, we have musicians to pay who need to earn a living. Refunds can only be given if the gig is cancelled (i.e. COVID-19), if it is postponed your tickets will still be valid for the re-scheduled event.
Closed for the foreseeable future
We are sad to announce that after 6 years we've had to stop running Strange Fruit gigs due to low ticket sales.
Once the economy picks up we hope to start again. We will keep you posted!
A massive 'thank you' to all the incredible artists who have performed at the club and, of course, the wonderfully loyal audience we've had over the years.

Freddy Saxo
Freddy is a firm favourite at Strange Fruit and one of the hardest working musicians around. He will be joined by the wonderful Kevin Walker on guitar and Lloyd Coote on Doublebass. There could also be some special guests playing thanks to Kevin.
